after the success of HOMELAND? with standing ovations and raving reviews we would like to announce the opening of Crazy miXmas. The upcoming Premiere is the 6th one since Artistic Director Adolphe Binder took over GöteborgsOperans Danskompani.

A humorous evening of dance sees the return of Alexander Ekman’s and Medhi Walerski’s La La Land along with Jo Strømgren’s The Outskirts. Both are created specifically for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani and both have been highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike. Now they are being performed together for the first time. In Crazy miXmas, they’re accompanied by Tending to Fall, a creation by Fernando Melo.
Fernando Melo's creation Tending to Fall is inspired by a very human tendency: to transmit knowledge and maintain customs that originated in the past.
In delirious La La Land we meet a group of people on a self-help course in a world that is very different from the normal one.
The Outskirts blends dance with theatre and seriousness with absurd humour in a slightly grotesque urban atmosphere.
After Dance Party
On Saturday December 8th, the Crazy miXmas performance will be followed by After Dance Glögg, with traditional Glühwine and live music in The Göteborg Opera foyer.
