The desire for immortality is one of the very deep human drives and a far-reaching philosophical as well as scientific question. Marguerite Donlon`s dance trilogy examines various forms of consciousness, reflects real and imaginary conditions of human existence and the (in) ability of people to transcend themselves. "Secret of Immortality" stages physicality, intellect and spirituality: αLPHA, SOMA, SACRE - All three ballets are independent, but connected internally through motion quotes, exciting transformations and through a mysterious creature designed by puppeteer Elodie Brochier. Sophisticated space and lighting designs emphasize the significant physical presence of this outstanding company and allow a complex and exciting evening to end in a grand ritual.
