4
POR 4 is a joint between dance and visual arts. Works by Brazilian
artists of different times and focuses, are transformed into dancing.
Canot (Based on Cildo Meireles), Mesa (Chelpa Ferro), Povinho (Victor
Arruda) and Vasos (Gringo Cardia), are choreographies that bring
movement to the image. The performance develops such concepts as
restraint, gentleness, limitation, daring, transparancy and chiefly
clearness. It also brings Deborah Colker for the first time playing the
piano in public, interpreting a Mozart sonata for two ballerinas tip
toing at the ouverture of Vasos. The music is the other vertex of the
artistic-love triangule formed in 4 POR 4.
